Privacy policy

This site collects almost nothing. Here is the whole of it.

What this site collects

richardlyon.net is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts, and serves no advertising. Reading it leaves no record with me.

The hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for its own operations. I do not receive or review them.

The contact form

If you write to me through the contact form, I receive what you send, including your email address if you give it. I use it to reply and for nothing else. It is not added to any list, shared with anyone, or sold.

The newsletter

My newsletter, The State of Britain, is published on Substack, which manages its own subscriber data under Substack's privacy policy. Subscribing there is between you and Substack; this site holds no subscriber list.

Connected applications

Where this domain is used as the identity for a private application (for instance a Google OAuth application used for my own calendar), that application accesses only my own data, on my own account, at my own instruction. No visitor data is involved.

Changes and contact

If the site ever starts collecting more than this, this page will say so before it does. Questions to the contact form.
